How To & Compatibility Guide

How to Install LullaBump

Installing LullaBump is quick and easy no tools required. Just follow these simple steps:

Choose a Wheel

LullaBump can be attached to either a front or back wheel, depending on your pram’s design. Choose a wheel that:

  • Moves freely (not fixed or locked)
  • Has space to thread the Velcro strap between the forks of the wheel
  • ideally does not have any interaction with a braking mechanism
Clean the Wheel Area

Give the area where the strap will attach a quick wipe with a damp cloth (or let's be honest a wet wipe is more likely) to remove dust or dirt this helps the Velcro grip more securely.
But don’t stress LullaBump is designed for quick, on-the-go use, so it’ll still work fine even if the wheel isn’t perfectly clean.

Thread the Strap

Wrap the self-adhering Velcro strap around the wheel’s fork or frame and feed it through the built-in buckle.

Position the Bump

Align the silicone LullaBump so that it is centered on the outer edge of the wheel. As the pram rolls, the bump will create a soft, rhythmic motion just enough to help soothe your baby.

Tighten & Test

Pull the strap tight and press the Velcro firmly back onto itself. Give the wheel a gentle push and ensure the LullaBump rotates smoothly with the wheel and doesn’t slip.

The strap is intentionally made a little longer to suit a variety of pram styles you may find it needs trimming for a cleaner fit.

  • Tip: Make sure there’s at least 20mm of Velcro overlap before trimming any excess.

Is LullaBump Compatible with My Pram?

LullaBump is designed to fit most single and double prams with standard wheels. It can be attached to either a front or back wheel, depending on your pram’s design whichever offers the best fit and motion.

It is compatible with any pram or stroller that has enough clearance to fit the included 3mm-thick Velcro strap around at least one wheel or its fork. If you can thread the strap through or around the wheel assembly, you're good to go.

We’ve tested the LullaBump strap on most modern prams and strollers available at retailers, and it is compatible with the majority. The only exceptions were prams with fully enclosed wheels, where the strap simply can’t be fitted.

Important Safety Note:

Most modern prams use internal braking systems, which are fully compatible with LullaBump.

However, some older prams use external brake pads that clamp directly onto the wheel. While LullaBump can be attached to these types of wheels, it’s essential to ensure it does not interfere with the braking system.

If your pram has an external brake that contacts the wheel directly, the LullaBump must be removed before engaging the brake to ensure it functions correctly and safely.

In day-to-day use, this is rarely an issue, as LullaBump is designed to assist while the pram is moving and brakes are typically applied when stationary. Still, always test your brake after installing LullaBump and remove it if needed for proper brake operation.
