Meet The Family Behind LullaBump

We’re Craig and Claire, very proud parents to two girls, Florence who’s 2 and Penelope who’s 9 months. I’m Aussie born and raised and Craig’s originally from England but happily traded the cold UK weather for life down under.

Like most parents, our days revolve around nap schedules, snack demands, and trying to finish a cup of tea before it goes cold. One thing that drove us crazy? The perfect nap seems to only happen at home. With Flo we didn’t even bother with naps on the go. They were short, restless, and just not worth it. But when Penny came along, staying home for every single nap wasn’t an option… not with a busy toddler who wanted to explore, climb and run.

The idea for LullaBump came from our pram walks. We’d hunt for rumble strips, cracks in the path, twigs and rocks basically anything that gave the pram a bit of a bump. We’d laugh and say, “Yep, that’ll send her to sleep.” We didn’t need anything fancy, just something that worked every time, so we made it.

We’ve always valued sleep for our girls. I thought the newborn months with Flo would be tough but would pass on their own. But by 6 months, I was still waking anywhere from 3 to 6 times a night to breastfeed and resettle. That’s when we called a sleep consultant which was honestly the best decision ever. She ran a “sleep godmother” program with us for two weeks, giving gentle support, loads of sleep education and coaching for us as parents. We realised how little we actually knew about baby sleep, and how simple the main principles were. We learnt that boring repetition can be magic for babies… a bit like sitting in my old nursing lectures, guaranteed to send anyone off to sleep.

Fast forward almost two years, and there we were with Penny, being pushed to make pram naps work between swimming lessons, playdates and park trips. We thought, what if we could create that same repetitive, soothing motion in a safe, convenient and easy way for parents.

And now we’ve got it. LullaBump. Something we’re so excited to share with families who want pram naps to actually work.

Thanks for stopping by we’re stoked you found us.
