How LullaBump was born

We’re not a big company. We’re just a small Aussie family of 4, who know what it feels like to be completely exhausted, walking circles around the block hoping your baby will finally nap.

Sleep has always been a huge priority in our home. Not just because we need it (though… we really do), but because we’ve seen how much good sleep helps our kids thrive. When they’re well-rested, they’re happier, more settled, and everything just feels a little easier for them and for us.

We’ve learned a lot over the past few years, including from a trusted baby sleep consultant we work with. She’s helped us stay on track with naps, routines, regressions, and all the curveballs that come with raising little humans.

At home, we try to set up the perfect sleep environment for our kids; dark room, white noise, comfy sleepwear, predictable routines. But when we’re out and about whether its a walk in the park or in a shopping centre, That’s where things get tricky. Especially with pram naps.

We used to go out for long walks and intentionally aim for small cracks in the pavement,  rumble strips at the end of path, little twigs, or stones. Anything to keep the pram rocking gently so our baby wouldn’t wake up. We’d literally search for uneven paths just to keep that perfect rhythm going.

And that’s where the idea for LullaBump came from.

We designed LullaBump because we were desperate for something simple that helped us keep our babies asleep during pram walks. A soft silicone bump that straps to the wheel, gently rocking the pram as you move; no batteries, no fancy setup, just a little extra help when you need it most.

LullaBump was never about building a product for profit. It was about building a product that actually made our lives easier and now we want to share it with other parents who are walking the same path (sometimes literally, for hours at a time).
